One of our client is looking to connect with some Expert who have specialized in the quality control division of cattle compound feed. Subject of discussion will be
QC setup:
• What are the guidelines to set-up a QC lab for testing of RM/FG/other?
• What are the key equipments required/present to ensure all tests can be done at that facility?
• Is there a process for monitoring data on a long term basis ¨C e.g. making profiles of sources based on the avg. quality of RMs/FGs provided by them, etc
QC norms:
• How are the norms or standards for QC testing defined ¨C are they standard across the industry or do different companies have different models?
• How detailed are the norms and what are these norms? - % Protein, % Fat, etc or % fibre, % moisture, etc
QC integration:
• How do you ensure that the 3 broad business teams ¨C Formulation team, Manufacturing team and the QC team understand norms as defined and make sure that these are followed?
• How do you ensure QC norms remain uniform across different geographies and how do you ensure norms are established and followed everywhere ¨C 1 joint setup or individual setups for each location?
