One of our client is trying to study about talent in middle east locations. • Information requirement: We wish to understand the key advantages and challenges related to talent faced by global companies in some of the middle east locations. The key points to understand are: o Labor laws (e.g., ease of conducting background employee checks, labor unions, nationalization) o Hiring of local talent (e.g., ease of hiring local talent, willingness of people to join global companies, availability of skilled talent), availability of talent from diverse backgrounds o Cultural differences (e.g., openness versus conservativeness in candidates) o Availability of talent with high degree of fluency in written and verbal skills in different Arabic dialects • List of locations in scope: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Dammam), UAE (Al Ain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Oman (Muscat), Jordan (Amman), Bahrain (Manama), Morocco (Casablanca). We are OK with the expert having experience in most of the countries if not all • Companies: Global companies (MNCs) located in above locations (preferably GICs/global service providers in these locations) • Roles: Senior leadership and HR leaders/head
